We stayed 2 nights in one of their Hostel rooms and had a very nice stay. There were 3 rooms that shared a bathroom but we never had a problem running into anyone. The bathroom and bedroom we're modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice TV with just a few channels, but they were good ones. The staff was very nice, breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and convenient, and the grounds were gorgeous and well kept. While we chose to stay in one of the hotel rooms, there were also other rooms and cabins to rent. The Hatchet Resort is also very convenient to both Grand Teton National Park and the south entrance to Yellowstone. Overall a great place to stay and at a fraction of the cost of anything in Jackson for the weekend.
Very nice room. Clean. Bed was comfy. Loved the walk in shower. Price very reasonable. Since I am a non-coffee drinker, glad to see hot chocolate available in the room.
The restaurants were amazing. Room was also amazing. Authentic cabin style with an amazing glass shower and hot tub. Also very close to Grand Tetons, which it has a view of. Would stay again.
Great location for Tetons and good value compared to similar places within the area, cabin was immaculate with great facilities and bathroom. Restaurant was reasonably priced and far better than can be got at most places within the parks. Guy on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming
We stayed at the hatchet resort because it was honestly the only place available under $300 a night in the Jackson area. We had one of their hostel style rooms with a shared bath, needless to say our expectations were not high, but for $200 less than any other room we were trilled. The room turned out to be one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. Everything was very modern and clean, the bed was fantastic and our shared bathroom never gave us any issues. The staff was also super nice. We did try the grill for breakfast and found it to be pretty good, although the prices were pretty high for what it was. Overall I would stay again in a heart beat!
