Get a bowl of elk chili and skip the rest of the menu. Buffalo flank steak is a joke, after several days of hiking i was looking forward to a hearty meal. This menu item is beyond absurd, a few thin narrow strips of steak with a small salad in the middle. That is it, anyone with half an appetite is going to be angry and still hungry. Trout is ok. All in all not worth the view at all. They need eat take a few menu and portion pointers from el trovar.
Amazing view of the Teton Mountains from our table! The food (the Wild Game Bolognese, the Elk Short Rib, etc) was also fantastic!
I had "bison steak" which had a great deal of fat and my wife had yellow lentils which were poorly cooked and unseasoned by any inspiration. A pronounced and overpriced disappointment overall, one which even the magnificent view could not allay. Not recommended, but I base that on only one visit. I can't imagine going a second time.
Outstanding service. Food presentation was excellent. Under whelming carpaccio but mains were terrific.
both of us ordered prime rib. We substituted broccoli for whatever was supposed to come with it. It came out cold, barely any broccoli and barely any flavor in the meat. We left unsatisfied and $100+ dollars poorer.
